Come build with us.
We hire people who take family law as seriously as we do. See who we are, then come build with us.
Don't see your position open, but still interested?
Email us your resume along with a short note on why family law, and why AFTA specifically, and let us know how many years you've been in the family law field. If you're an attorney licensed five or more years, or a paralegal with ten plus years of experience or board certification, we want to hear from you even if there's no opening listed.

We sent our paralegals home for National Paralegal Day
At noon sharp, every paralegal got the rest of the day off plus a three-hour billable credit, on one condition: send proof you're actually relaxing. Kathy hit the shops, Paola finished a hand-painted banner, and everyone got real time with their people.

800 backpacks, then 70 more
Our Back to School Drive put 800 filled backpacks in the hands of Houston single moms, with over $30,000 raised in sponsored donations. The leftovers didn't sit in our closet: 70 more went to Oak Forest Foster, straight to students in foster care who needed them. It was such a huge success that even Fox 26 featured it.

The urinal is gone. G drilled it out herself.
Our Houston office said goodbye to the last relic of its former life, with the founder on the drill. In its place: wall art quoting Cher. "Mom, I am a rich man." A fitting new look for a woman-owned firm.

Congrats to our summer law clerks
Yennisse Sevilla and Sheena Watson, both from South Texas College of Law, successfully completed their summer clerkship at AFTA, and told us it's the most they've learned at any internship. Which is exactly what we're going for.

A little something for the bar prep students
When South Texas College of Law asked us to support their bar prep giveaway, we thought about what we would have wanted while studying for the bar: a massage and good coffee. So that's exactly what we sent.

Happy birthday, Mo!
We celebrated Mo's birthday at the office with cake and lots of good vibes. The small moments are the culture.

A toast to our senior attorney's next chapter
When one of our senior attorneys earned an opportunity she was thrilled about, we didn't sulk. We threw a toast, gave her the Steadfast Helper award for everything she did for our clients, and sent her off proud. We celebrate our people, even when their next chapter isn't with us.

G and Caitie take Scottsdale
The dynamic duo crashed a two-day retreat on how the sharpest firms are putting AI to work in their marketing. They came back sun-kissed, over-caffeinated, and armed with a notebook full of ideas. And honestly? We plan to be one of the firms on that stage.

A women-led firm with a real mission.
We're building something different in family law - a team that genuinely cares about the families we serve and the people on our own team. If that's you, we'd love to meet you.
